Grzegorz Brona is the new head of the Polish Space Agency

Grzegorz Brona has been appointed president of the Polish Space Agency, the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology informs on Twitter.

The new president of the Polish Space Agency received his nomination from Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the press office of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology reports.

According to the website of the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw, Grzegorz Brona is a lecturer at the Faculty of Physics of the University of Warsaw and a former employee of the CERN research laboratory, with which he cooperated in 2009-2011. "At the CERN laboratory, he was responsible for the radiation detector software and led the research team working at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC)".

The new head of the Polish Space Agency is also a co-author of more than 300 scientific articles published in journals including Physical Review Letters, Nuclear Instruments and Methods and Nature.

Brona is also a co-founder of Creotech Instruments and its CEO since 2015. "At Creotech, he is responsible for building the company`s vision and development strategy, in particular in the area of space technologies, which have become a key market for the company" - we read.

Brona is a member of the Polish Space Agency Council since 2015. "Dr. Grzegorz Brona enjoys travelling and learning about the history of places he visits. He loves good movies and ambitious literature" - reads his profile on the Creotech Instruments website.
