Polish universities are waiting for students from the East

Students from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine who want to study in Poland, can use the portals Study in Poland/Polish Universities. They provide information about educational offer of individual Polish universities, learning the Polish language, required fees. The websites are available in Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian language.

According to the report "Foreign students in Poland 2013" prepared by the Educational Foundation Perspektywy, more than 24,000 foreign students from 141 countries currently study in Poland. This is almost 4,000 more than in 2011, but they still account for only 1.1 percent of all students.

Most international students come to Polish universities from the neighbouring countries: Ukraine (6321) and Belarus (2937). These countries are followed by Norway (1514), Sweden (1162) and the U.S. (970).

Online services Study in Poland in Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian versions were created to encourage students from the East to study in Poland, a ticket-country and attractive study destination. Websites are available at: www.studyinpoland.com.ru; www.studyinpoland.by; www.studyinpoland.com.ua / www.polishuniversities.com.ua

The purpose is to advise potential students on learning opportunities in Poland, answer questions related to studies, learning the Polish language, fees and regulations. In the "Events" tab, potential students will find general information on Poland (politics, culture, attractions).

The honorary patrons of Study in Poland websites are the largest academic centres in the country, including: Kraków, Gdańsk and Zielona Góra, as well as educational programs such as Study in Lublin.
