Soon everyone will be able to create applications for mobile phones. Businesses will not have to employ skilled programmers for that purpose. A tool accessible via a Web browser that allows application development even by people who do not know how to code, has been developed by the start-up Kinetise.

"At Kinetise we have created the PAP application that has passed the certification process and is now available in iPhone and Android app stores. This application provides the user with the contents with the selected topic. It allows for settings personalization, which means that users can define which messages and from which categories they will receive. They can also receive notifications of communications of companies. The messages are received on a cell phone, a notification looks like a text message. The complexity of the tool is very large and it offers a lot. It could even be used to create a Facebook application" - explained Piotr Pawlak from Kinetise.

He explained that a while ago only programmers created web pages, and only outstanding specialists were able to create computer graphics. With tools such as Photoshop, each computer-literate person can handle this task. Kinetise is similar. It allows any PC user to create an application for smartphones. A person using this tool does not have to learn programming or study computer science. Kinetise costs $99 a month, and even for a layman one month is enough to create an app.

Kinetise is a research and development company, technology start-up. As a softwarehouse, it creates dedicated software for specific orders of large corporations. Warsaw-based company has been running for nine years and employs 50 people, half of them working for 5 years now on the Kinetise tool. Many teem members are graduates of Warsaw University of Technology, Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology and the University of Warsaw. National Centre for Research and Development awarded Kinetise a 150 thousand zlotys grant from the Go Global! Programme.

"In the start-up community, National Centre for Research and Development programs are widely recognized. We spent funds from the Go Global programme on promoting our solutions in the US at Tech Crunch Disrupt conference in Silicon Valley. TechCrunch.com the world\'s largest website devoted to new technologies. We were a partner of the Annual Conference in San Francisco, the official platform for mobile application development. Participation in this event has already paid off, we have a lot of users in the US and we are recognized by the biggest technology companies" - described Piotr Pawlak.

He reminded that Kinetise competed in a start-up competition organized by IBM. The company reached the world finals and has since developed partnership with IBM, entering the giant’s sales structure. Polish company\'s solutions are promoted on IBM platforms, promoting the most interesting tools, solutions and products.

The main competition for the company are simple application wizards. However, as the company\'s CEO points out, if a trader needs to develop a serious application for his business, he has to hire a very expensive softwarehouse, or expensive programmers. Kinetise allows to quickly and personally create even complex applications, rich in functionality. However, it is not a tool for creating games. Even the most sophisticated mobile applications can now be created without having to dig into the code. The work is done in a graphical drag-and-drop editor. The result are native applications, solutions developed for specific mobile devices.
