Masters in Management courses offered by the Kozminski University and the Warsaw School of Economics (as part of an international consortium) have been included in the Financial Times ranking of the best such programmes in the world.

The Masters in Management course offered by the Kozminski University (ALK) was ranked in 39th place (up by 3 places compared to last year). In 6th place in the FT ranking was the programme offered by the Kozminski University jointly with foreign universities as part of the ESCP Business School, the oldest business university in the world. The course offered by the Warsaw School of Economics as part of the CEMS consortium of over thirty universities was 13th in the ranking.
The undisputed winners of this year's ranking are the Swiss University of St. Gallen and the French HEC Paris. Their first and second positions, which they have held for years, appear unchallenged. The top five also includes the French Essec Business School; London Business School; Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
Professor Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, dean of the KU Management College, said: "Management students have a choice of five areas of education, the possibility of obtaining two diplomas under double degree programs, which we run with four foreign universities. Thanks to this, our students can shape their own education and career path.
“We want to teach real business, combining the highest academic standards with practical management skills. We achieve this thanks to cooperation with corporate partners from large international companies, including Amazon, Oracle, Accenture, which guarantees acquiring up-to-date and practical knowledge, and at the same time creates a platform for the exchange of experiences.”
One of the main indicators comparing the value of managerial education on a global scale are the salaries and careers of graduates. In addition, the Financial Times evaluates the level of internationalisation of the course, equal participation of women and men among lecturers and students, teaching staff qualifications and the activity of universities as part of international exchange.
The data analysed by the Financial Times come from two sources: from the universities themselves and from graduates who graduated three years earlier.
The FT ranking includes only programs that meet the following criteria: at least one year of full-time management studies, at least 30 graduates per year and at least one international EQUIS or AACSB accreditation.
