On September 13-17, the European University of the Seas will organize a virtual summer school for students and young researchers on Ocean Sustainability.

The schedule includes issues related to sustainable development, the problem of munitions in the Baltic Sea and microplastic pollution as well as maritime sector issues.

A networking session with local companies from the different SEA-EU cities will help participants find out about the practical aspects of working in the maritime sector.

The event’s organisers said: “This is a great opportunity for students of the entire alliance to connect and get to know each other.”

They invite Master and PhD level students from all disciplines with an interest in sustainability to participate.

Participation in the school is free.
