Only three Polish universities were ranked in the QS World University Ranking for university courses. The included courses are offered by the University of Warsaw, the Jagiellonian University and Warsaw University of Technology.

The QS World University Rankings for university courses rated over 10 thousand courses offered by universities around the world. 200 top programs were selected for each of the 30 courses. Finally, nearly 700 out of nearly 3 thousand rated institutions were included in the ranking.

The best Polish university in the ranking was the University of Warsaw, included in the list of best colleges for seven subjects: English philology, linguistics, modern languages, philosophy, physics (places 101-150) as well as geography and mathematics (places 151-200). The university has improved its last year\'s result, because only four its programs qualified in 2013.

The Jagiellonian University was recognized for two fields of study: English philology and modern languages. The third Polish university in the ranking is Warsaw University of Technology, which was among the best universities teaching electronics and electrical engineering.

Quacquarelli Symonds World University Ranking (QS) is one of the most important rankings in the world. QS publishes three separate rankings, assessing the overall activity of the university, scientific disciplines and courses of study.
