Poland won two gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze medals at the 26th International Invention and Innovation Exhibition ITEX 2015 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - reported the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers.
ITEX 2015 exhibition in Malaysia was held on May 21-23 and featured more than a thousand innovations from 20 countries. The Polish stand, organized by the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers, presented more than twenty solutions from scientific and industrial entities.
In the main competition of ITEX 2015, Polish solutions received medals: 2 gold, 11 silver and 10 bronze, as well as diplomas. They also received numerous special awards and prizes.
Gold went to teams from the Military University of Technology and the Strata Mechanics Research Institute PAS. Silver medals were awarded, among others, to teams from the Industrial Research Institute for Automation and Measurements, Institute of Mathematical Machines, Military University of Technology, Oil and Gas Institute, Silesian University of Technology, Textile Research Institute and the King John III Sobieski School No. 6 in Jastrzębie-Zdrój.

"Polish solutions enjoyed interest of among exhibition visitors and representatives of business and industry. They asked a lot of detailed questions concerning the functioning of the innovations presented at the Polish stand, and often asked about the possibility to contact their creators directly" - reported the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers.
ITEX exhibition gathers innovations from two continents and provides a platform for communication between inventors. From year to year ITEX is becoming more and more popular in business community. Participation in this exhibition marked the beginning of the commercialisation of more than a thousand solutions.
The exhibition was visited by over 12 thousand visitors from 43 countries. Solutions were presented by representatives of the scientific community, research institutes, industry and business groups. Engineering, industry, computer science, electronics, architecture and construction, medicine, agriculture, transport, environment and safety are the most popular categories of the presented innovations.
