PLN 9.5 million grant for innovative treatment of pancreatic cancer

Innovative treatment method of pancreatic cancer using the NanoKnife device and administration of calcium ions or a chemotherapeutic has been launched at the University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław. Thanks to the grant, only in this institution about 70 patients will benefit from free therapy.

    Michał Bogdziewicz awarded the Tansley Medal

    Michał Bogdziewicz from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań received the 2021 New Phytologist Tansley Medal for Excellence in Plant Science, one of the most important awards for biologists specialising in plants, the National Science Centre reports. He is the first Polish researcher awarded this distinction.
